Emma Wakefield - Art & Soul
Emma Wakefield is a multidisciplinary artist, writer, and creative facilitator whose work lives at the intersection of chaos, creativity, and cyclical self-reclamation. Drawing from her lived experience with PMDD, ADHD, and dynamic health, Emma creates with fierce vulnerability, poetic clarity, and soul-level humour.
Emma is the creator of Art & Soul, a concept rooted in the belief that creativity is not just expression - it’s necessity. Through intuitive art-making and embodied exploration, she helps others reconnect with joy, permission, and the wisdom of their inner wildness. Her work has become a soft rebellion against systems that embraces emotional depth and productivity, offering instead a path toward self-compassion, presence, and reclamation.
Unapologetically hides like a gremlin 98% of the time… but when she does emerge she likes to pretend she’s just stepped off a wind machine at the end of a Florence + The Machine concert.
Mum to an incredible teen, soul dog and corn snake. Plant hoarder, cowboy boot collector and chronic homebody who reads too many books and paints canvases bigger than her actual life capacity most days. Based in the UK, Emma shares her journey on Instagram, where she blends creative expression, cyclical awareness, and boundary-busting honesty in equal measure.
Emma is an Atmospheric Artist known for evocative, large-scale canvases infused with nature inspired energy and elemental magic. Using modelling paste, acrylic and touches of gold to weave threads of light and movement, Emma creates vibrant 'Soulscapes' that amplify emotional resonance in therapy rooms, wellbeing spaces interior design projects and homes.
Her art is currently on display at Hugo & Green, Hanningtons Lane Brighton. With upcoming Exhibitions at Horsham Art Fair, West Sussex in October 2026.

Weaving colour, texture, and movement as tools for processing what can’t always be named. Exploring the power of tiny joys - the light that flickers through the cracks. Meeting ourselves exactly as we are, without needing to be fixed or finished. Creating spaces - on the canvas, in the studio, and in the soul.
